The Brief
Create a contemporary exhibition environment for Atlantic Aviation Group at MRO Europe, balancing open hospitality and meeting spaces with areas offering greater privacy, while creating a strong and recognisable brand presence.
My Contribution
Developed the concept, spatial design and visitor journey, from initial mood imagery and sketches through to 3D visualisation and ongoing design development.
The Thinking
The concept was driven by Atlantic Aviation Group's belief in moving the world, using the form of an aeroplane wing to create a strong architectural gesture that appeared to move through the stand. Rising from the floor and continuing overhead, the form framed the entrance and drew the eye into the space, giving the brand's message a physical presence rather than relying on graphics alone. Ribbon-like forms inspired by aviation and the brand's visual language continued this sense of movement throughout the environment.
This language was carried into the finer details, creating continuity between the illuminated lines, curved metal-fronted reception desk and semi-private alcoves. Open hospitality sat towards the front, while framed openings, planting and softer finishes introduced greater privacy further into the stand. The result was a cohesive environment where the architecture, detailing and visitor journey all reinforced the same idea of movement.
